QC Photo Request Guide — What to Ask Per Platform

Every T1 and T2 代购 agent offers default QC photos plus a paid upsell for extra shots. The defaults differ in useful ways: number of photos, angles covered, whether tags are visible. Knowing per-agent what's default and what's extra saves you 10-30 CNY per item across a multi-item order.

Default photo counts by agent

Loongbuy's 8-photo default is the reason we recommend it for drops — you rarely need to pay for extras.

Extra photo fees

Loongbuy's extra-photo pricing is cheapest. If you know you'll need detailed shots (high-value items, complex brand authentication), this matters.

When extra photos are worth it

Always worth it

• Sneakers over 400 CNY seller-level: request insole photo + box label close-up
• Watches of any price: request dial close-up + case-back
• Bags over 500 CNY: request interior lining + hardware macro

Sometimes worth it

• Apparel over 300 CNY: request stitching detail + tag close-up
• Accessories with brand identifier: request logo/hallmark close-up

Not worth it

• Items under 100 CNY
• Basic T-shirts with no brand detail
• Generic stickers, keychains, hats

What to actually ask for

Sneakers

1. Insole with size stamp visible
2. Box label (date + style code)
3. Heel stitching close-up
4. Sole pattern straight-on
5. Inner boot (for Dunk, AJ1 high)

Watches

1. Dial at 12 o'clock head-on
2. Case-back (reference number visible)
3. Crown close-up
4. Bracelet hardware close-up
5. Box + papers (if seller provided)

Bags

1. Interior lining with stamp
2. Main hardware (clasp, zipper pull)
3. Logo or brand tag macro
4. Stitching along main seam
5. Strap attachment point

Apparel

1. Brand tag (interior neck for tops, waist for bottoms)
2. Stitching along main seam
3. Size label close-up
4. Fabric weave macro (for premium items)

How to request

Each agent has a slightly different request flow:

Kakobuy

In-dashboard: item detail → "Request additional inspection" → type the specific ask in Chinese or English. English works; 95% accuracy.

Superbuy

In-dashboard: QC viewer → "Request more" → description. Charged upfront (10 CNY).

Sugargoo

Discord is fastest here. Tag the support mod with your order ID and specific request. Free service fee for basic requests under 2 photos; formal fee applies for full sets.

CSSBuy

In-dashboard only. Limited English; Chinese with DeepL translation works better.

Hoobuy

In-dashboard: item detail → "Extra QC" → select request type from dropdown + free-text.

Loongbuy

In-dashboard or Discord. Cheapest fee so requesting is low-cost.

Video requests

Videos are a premium upsell but useful for:

• Watch movement sound check (tick vs quartz)
• Zipper function test (bag quality)
• Fabric stretch test (stretch items for apparel)
• Sneaker flexion test (flex sole)

Typical video length: 15-30 seconds. Fee: 15-30 CNY depending on agent.

When to reject without extra QC

Even with default photos, some defects are clear:

• Wrong color shipped
• Wrong size on the tag
• Visible damage (tear, stain, broken hardware)
• Obvious mismatched stitching
• Wrong seller's branding on tag

Reject immediately; don't waste money on extra QC for obvious issues.

Frequently asked

Can I request QC before paying?

No. All agents require item purchase first. QC happens on items already purchased and in warehouse.

Do extra photos extend QC time?

Typically by 12-24 hours. Loongbuy is fastest to turn extra requests around.

Can I request custom angles?

Yes. Free-text your request. Warehouse QC staff are human; they accommodate specific asks if they're clear and reasonable.

What about 360° video?

Kakobuy and Loongbuy offer 360° video on request for 40-60 CNY. Useful for watches and premium bags.

Is there a way to get unlimited QC?

No. Each agent caps requests at 2-3 additional rounds per item.
