CSSBuy Spreadsheet 2026: Near-Zero FX, Hardest UI
CSSBuy has one of the lowest FX markups of any top-10 代购 agent in 2026 — though a 6% service fee offsets it — at the cost of a dated UI. A practical guide to when CSSBuy wins and when it does not.
Clean UI is the first thing that impresses a new reps buyer and the last thing an experienced one cares about. CSSBuy is where people land once they have made that shift. Its FX markup is among the lowest of any top-10 agent (around 0.5%), though a 6% service fee that most low-FX agents skip pushes the all-in near 6.5%. The warehouse is competent and the sourcing reach is surprisingly deep. What CSSBuy will not do is hold your hand.
This is the guide for someone who has already bought through Kakobuy or Superbuy at least twice and is looking for the savings agent.
TL;DR
- FX markup: ~0.5% — among the lowest of any agent — but a 6% service fee, so all-in is ~6.5%
- UI: older, assumes familiarity with the reps flow
- Shipping: good line-haul selection, honest pricing
- Best for: apparel, accessories, bulk orders; buyers who want low FX with a competent warehouse and do not need hand-holding
See the CSSBuy spreadsheet page for our current verified list.
The cost math that matters
What moves the final price is the all-in markup — FX plus any percentage service fee. On a 3,000 CNY basket (mid-market base ~$443):
| Agent | All-in markup | Final cost |
|---|---|---|
| Sugargoo | ~0% (no % fee) | ~$443 |
| CSSBuy | ~6.5% (0.5% FX + 6% fee) | ~$472 |
| Kakobuy | ~8.5% | ~$481 |
| Superbuy | ~8.5% | ~$481 |
CSSBuy's near-zero FX undercuts the T1 agents — about $9 cheaper than Kakobuy on 3,000 CNY, ~$45 on 15,000 CNY, roughly $90 a year across three 10,000 CNY orders. But the 6% service fee means it is not the outright cheapest: a no-percentage-fee agent like Sugargoo lands lower on all-in. CSSBuy's real edge is low FX plus a competent warehouse, not the rock-bottom total.
The CSSBuy-over-Kakobuy saving is not worth the UI friction on your first order. It becomes worth it once you have done the flow twice and know what a "submit-to-shipping" button does without looking.
Where CSSBuy's UI feels dated
- The English translation is partial. Some buttons still say "支付" or "入库" depending on which page you are on.
- The item-input interface expects the full Weidian URL; partial IDs don't resolve automatically (unlike Kakobuy's smart paste).
- The QC photo viewer does not support rotation or zoom in-browser; you have to download and open photos locally.
- There is no mobile app; the mobile web is usable but cramped.
If that list sounds fine, you will like CSSBuy. If it sounds painful, start on Kakobuy and come back in six months.
When CSSBuy wins
Bulk apparel orders
On a 20-piece apparel order, the FX saving + CSSBuy's relatively cheap re-pack fee (CSSBuy will flatten hoodies into ziploc-style vacuum bags for an extra 5 CNY per item) adds up to real money. On a mixed apparel cart of a dozen-plus pieces, the CSSBuy total typically lands tens of dollars under the equivalent Kakobuy cart, driven mostly by the FX gap.
Orders below 1,000 CNY
CSSBuy's per-item service fee is low enough that small single-item orders don't get eaten by fixed costs. On Hoobuy or Superbuy, the fixed-cost overhead on a 200 CNY item can be 15-20% of the order value.
When you already know the seller
If you have the Weidian seller's shop URL or item ID from a Discord community, CSSBuy's manual-entry flow is fast. The autopopulate magic on Kakobuy is a nice-to-have, but unnecessary if you already have the IDs.
When CSSBuy loses
- First-time buyers: always start on Kakobuy
- Sneakers with fast drops: QC turnaround at CSSBuy is 72-96 hours, longer than Kakobuy's 24-48; you may lose a re-buy window on a hot drop
- Consolidation over 90 days: Superbuy's 180-day free window beats CSSBuy's 60-day
- High-value watches: CSSBuy is competent, but for a $300+ watch order we prefer the dispute track record of Kakobuy

Line-haul options on CSSBuy
CSSBuy has one of the widest line-haul catalogs of any agent. Usable options we recommend:
- DHL Express: 7-10 days worldwide, premium pricing
- 4PX E-EU: 10-14 days to EU, moderate pricing
- YunExpress US: 10-14 days US, budget pricing, variable customs
- EMS: 14-21 days, cheapest, widest coverage
- SEA Express: 25-35 days, sea-air hybrid, cheapest for 5kg+ parcels
For comparison data by country see EMS vs DHL vs YunExpress.
Coupons and long-term discounts
CSSBuy does not run aggressive first-order coupons (Kakobuy's turf). What it does offer is a loyalty discount: after your third submitted parcel, CSSBuy enables a permanent ~2% loyalty discount, trimming the effective all-in cost (FX plus its 6% service fee) to roughly 4.5%. Over a year that is a meaningful delta for active buyers.
Frequently asked
Is CSSBuy older than Kakobuy?
Yes. CSSBuy has been around since 2015 roughly. Kakobuy is newer (2021+). Age is not a feature, but it means CSSBuy's warehouse processes are well-debugged.
Does CSSBuy support PayPal?
Indirectly, through a card intermediary. Direct PayPal is not a CSSBuy payment option at present.
Is there a way to speed up CSSBuy QC?
Yes — pay the "priority QC" add-on (15 CNY) at item-purchase time. QC then typically drops within 24 hours, matching Kakobuy's default.
Which agent does the warehouse staff speak English best?
Kakobuy. CSSBuy's warehouse team communicates primarily in Chinese and uses machine translation for Western disputes. This is not usually a problem but it is a factor when you have a nuanced refund issue.
Can I combine CSSBuy with Kakobuy in one plan?
Yes. Separate parcels on two agents based on item type — big apparel on CSSBuy for FX; time-sensitive sneakers on Kakobuy. See the agent switching guide for the parcel-split logic.
If you've already done one successful order on a T1 agent and want to start saving, the CSSBuy spreadsheet page is where to begin. Pair it with our tops category for apparel or accessories for smaller items where the per-item fee savings matter more.
